Product Detail
Uric acid is a metabolite of purines, nucleic acids and nucleoproteins. Hyperuricaemia may be observed in renal dysfunction, gout, leukemia, toxemia of pregnancy, or in some genetic disorders. Decreased levels may be observed with severe hepatocellular disease and defective renal tubular reabsorption.
The Uric Acid reagent is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of Uric Acid in human serum, plasma or urine.
