Solaris qPCR Master Mix has been developed in conjunction with Solaris qPCR Gene Expression Assays for quantification of DNA and cDNA. Optimal qPCR results using probe detection chemistries can be achieved by using this same system of qPCR products.
Product Detail
Optimized Solaris qPCR Master Mixes have been developed to ensure the best possible Solaris assay performance. In addition to enhanced performance, these optimized reagents offer a unique feature – they’re blue. This visual confirmation of set-up helps eliminate pipetting errors and further enhances the repeatability of your data. Solaris qPCR Master Mixes are compatible with all commonly used real-time instrument platforms.
FEATURES
Easy-to-see mix: Master mix contains an inert blue dye for easy sample visualization during reaction set-up.
Maximum specificity: Chemically-modified Thermo-Start Taq remains completely inactive until heated to 95ºC for 15 minutes, thereby preventing non-specific amplification.
Improved efficiency: The use of dTTP in place of dUTP increases reaction efficiency by approximately 5% and therefore reduces reaction time.
Increased sensitivity: The combination of Thermo-Start Taq and dTTP increases sensitivity and allows for detection of low copy number templates.
Instrument specific: Individually optimized qPCR mixes designed for all commonly used qPCR instruments.
Reproducible results: All mixes undergo extensive quality control testing to ensure batch-to-batch consistency.
Simple protocol: Master mix format reduces protocol steps and minimizes risk of pipetting errors and sample contamination.
