The UV6000LP PDA incorporates significant technological achievements that result in detection sensitivity which is an incredible five times that of current PDAs. In all critical detection areas, sensitivity, linearity, precision and noise, the UV6000LP meets or exceeds today's demanding research requirements. Central to the design is our patented LightPipe technology. The LightPipe flowcell is 50 mm in length, producing a higher signal-to-noise ratio than conventional flowcells. High optical throughput is ensured by the special low-refractive-index coating of the cell's internal bore, providing total internal reflectance of light and minimizing short-term noise. The sophisticated optical design also includes a unique fiber-optic beam shaper that ensures the maximum amount of light is imaged in the ideal shape for maximum spectral resolution.
