Also known as Vibe Unit, the EPD External Alarm Module is a three-way external alarm unit used to enhance the EPD® Mk2. The unit has three alarm modes and is activated by LED light from the EPD through a fiber-optic hook.

The EPD External Alarm Module, or Vibe Unit, has three alarm modes: 1) Larger, brighter LED; 2) Vibration; and 3) Dual frequency audible alarm for use with an ear-phone.

Features for enhancing alarm capability include:

  • LED light from the EPD activates the vibration and audio alarm through fiber hook
  • easily attached, optional, audible ear-piece alarm
