Compact, bench top unit for periodic calibration checking for individual Thermo Scientific Mk1 or Mk2 EPDs. Through calibration checking, the  EPD  can be confirmed that it is within its design specification for radiological performance. The unit operates in conjunction with the EPD Maintenance Database System (EMDS2).

With the IRR-1, large numbers of dosemeters can be processed quickly, easily and with no radiation risk to the operator. When the IRR-1 is used in conjunction with the Thermo EPD Maintenance Database software, records can be maintained for the calibration of individual EPD's. The IRR-1 can also be supplied without sources if required.
