The Slimline SGD5040 Slab Gel Dryer incorporates sturdy metal housing and TEFLON coated heating surface in a space saving design. The large surface area makes it perfect for drying down large sequencing gels or multiple smaller ones.

  • Slim profile 40cm x 50cm (W x D) work surface 
  • Three user-selectable heat ramping rates allows you to optimize the heating to your gel
    • Program 1 - For thin or sequencing gels
    • Program 2 - General purpose ramping
    • Program 3 - Slow ramp for thick or gradient gels
  • Digital display of time and temperature 
  • TEFLON-coated surface reduces gel adhesion and resists attach from acetic acid
  • Optional acrylic cover for use with radio isotopes
