The Orion 931701 chloride electrode replaces the Orion 92-17 chloride
electrode. Most applications in technical journals, Thermo Application Bulletins
or Thermo Analytical Methods Guide that specify use of the 92-17 can be
performed with the 931701 electrode.
The Orion 931701 chloride electrode is intended to measure chloride in the
range of 1 x 10-5 M to 1 M. It can be used in
the presence of modest concentrations of sulfide, iodide and cyanide. For
concentrated solutions and solutions in which nitrate or sulfate is present, the
Orion 9417BN solid-state Chloride Electrode is recommended.
The Orion ionplus Sure-Flow Combination Chloride Electrode, Orion 9617BNWP, was developed specifically for measuring chloride in very small samples with minimal flow and should not be used in conventional stirred solutions.

The BNWP connector provides a waterproof and secure connection when used with the new Orion Star Series meters. The BNWP connector is compatible with any standard BNC connector both on Orion meters and competitive meter models.
Waterproof BNC and BNC electrodes have 1 m cables, screw cap connector requires separate cable. Sensing modules require 93 series electrode handle and reference electrode.
