Dose rate detectors of type FHZ 621 G-L are proportional detectors with high sensitivity and an integral microprocessor-electronic with serial interface of type RS-232 or RS-485.
A unique property is the additional detection of radiation anomalies with the NBR-method. This will clearly indicate whether an increase of radiation was due to artificial sources in the environment or merely a normal, natural event due to changes of weather (temperature, rain, etc.). Therefore this probe is ideally suited for environmental monitoring.
