FHT 1376 Mobile Gamma Radiation Detection System

FHT 1376 Mobile Gamma Radiation Detection System

The FHT 1376 is a mobile radiation detection system developed for the rapid detection and location of gamma emitting radioactive sources in large areas. It provides survey teams with a portable tool for effectively addressing the problems of orphaned sources, radiological contamination, and maliciously introduced sources.

   Product Detail

FHT 1376 is a mobile system for detection of gamma radiation with extreme high sensitivity supported with a GPS (Global Positioning System). Radiation data and position can be recorded with a Notebook computer for offline analysis and documentation.

Features:

  • Ultra-high sensitivity: 20.000 cps / µSv/h  (137Cs) with 5 liter plastic scintillator
  • NBR (Natural Background Rejection) for fast detection of artificial sources
  • An increase of 5 nSv/h can be detected at full speed
  • Surveying and search jobs are recorded including GPS data
  • High resolution with one record per second allows high speed surveys
  • Option1: simultaneous measurement of dose rate with FH 40 G
  • Option2: alarm unit with freely adjustable alarm thresholds
  • Comprehensive PC software for data analysis and presentation as xt-diagram or color coded track on a map
  • High sensitivity neutron scanning can be included
