The KM12506E-A is a constant potential, continuous duty x-ray tube designed for use in high resolution radiography and real time imaging. The end window design and short target to window spacing facilitates the generation of high resolution direct x-ray magnified images from any size object. The sealed metal-glass construction assures the highest vacuum for long tube life and eliminates vacuum pumps and filament changes. Oil insulation is provided in a compact, light weight package for ease of installation and manipulation.
When driven by the P12506 power supply, the user can select one of two spot size/power combinations for applications from small-spot/low-power for high resolution to large-spot/high-power for greater x-ray flux.
