High Temperature/High Pressure Chamber for Diffuse Reflectance Accessories
The chamber allows the exposure of the sample to extreme reaction conditions. This chamber is used for experiments at temperatures up to 900°C at ambient pressure or at lower temperatures up to 400°C at up to 1500 psi. This chamber features a unique ZnSe dome that is ideally suited to these conditions. A specific temperature controller is necessary (purchased seperately) to ensure reliable, long-life operation of the heating elements in the chambers.
Applications
• Control of sampling environment of solid samples
• In-situ measurements
• Adsorbate characterization
Features
• Sample can be analyzed in an inert gaseous environment
• Heats to 900°C and pressurizes from ambient to 1500 psi
• Thermocouple for direct sample temperature measurement
Temperature Controller Specifications
• Time-proportional
• LCD Display
• Cycle time 0.5 seconds
• 6 volts maximum voltage
• Stability +/- 1°C
High Temperature/Vacuum Chamber for Diffuse Reflectance Accessories
The High Temperature/Vacuum Chamber is ideal for experiments requiring high temperatures and vacuum conditions. A temperature controller is necessary (purchased seperately) to ensure reliable operation of the heating elements. This chamber comes standard with 13mm X 2mm KBr windows - other materials are available. The currently available version of this chamber has two temperature probes - one for the heater and one for the sample.
Note: Coolant requirements: H2O flow rate of 30 cc/min.
