A sealed cell is composed of two windows, with a spacer between them, that are amalgamed together. An amalgamated seal guarantees excellent performance and leakproof sampling even with highly volatile samples. Sealed cells are available in two configurations: the EZ-FillTM version has Leur-Lok fittings that enable the cell to be easily filled with a syringe and the EZ-FlowTM version has 1/8" tubing to accommodate flow studies. The EZ-Fill Sealed Cell is an innovation in liquid transmission cells. These sealed cells can be used for viscous samples, due to the unique fluid dynamics of the cell. The cells require a Bolt Down Holder (cell holder), which must be ordered separately. The standard gasket in these cells is Viton; however, Silicon and Kalrez are also available.
