This unit was designed as a multi-use laboratory workstation. Its compact dimensions (60", 152 cm, long) allow it to fit easily into your laboratory floor plan. It is excellent for gross dissection or the dissection of small animals. Unit includes three (3) removable grid plates.
Product Detail
Shandon DU-11 Features Grid Plate Work Surface The grids are fabricated of 18-gauge, type 304 stainless steel with a #4 finish.
Base Fabricated of 14-gauge, type 304 stainless steel with a #4 finish and 1.5” square tubing. 18-gauge type 304 stainless steel skirts are mounted on all four (4) sides of the base frame and are designed to provide knee space for user comfort.
Downdraft Ventilation Integral downdraft ventilation assembly provides a passageway for fumes to be exhausted downward from the work surface through a vertical circular duct stub-out.
Tabletop Fabricated of 14-gauge, type 304 stainless steel with a #4 finish and constructed with full 1” (2.54 cm) radius corners for easy cleaning and sanitation. All edges are flanged around the full perimeter along with a welded-in 14-gauge “U”-formed channel and angled cross supports providing maximum strength and durability.
Acoustic Coating Applied to the underside to deaden sound and to prevent condensation, the coating is applied and then sealed with silver enamel paint.
Welding All welds utilize only stainless steel as a filler medium. All visible welds shall be ground smooth and regrained to match the #4 finish.

Perimeter Rinse Continuous-flow rinse, complete with vacuum breaker and a flow-control valve mounted on the end of the tabletop, washes the plenum below the perforated work surface.
Hand Spray The table comes with spray nozzle, on/off control and flexible spray hose. A valve is located on the end of the tabletop to control water pressure.
Duplex Receptacle A hospital-grade duplex GFCI (ground fault current interrupter) receptacle is provided on 110-120V units. This feature interrupts the electrical supply when a ground fault occurs to protect the user against electrical shock. A hospital-grade duplex receptacle is provided on 220-240V units. This receptacle does not protect against shock, however, it is ready for the customer to connect it to an RCD (residual current device) which doesprotect against shock.
