The Foundation SpeculATR provides routine single-reflection ATR spectroscopy and fixed-angle specular reflectance. For ATR analyses, the base unit includes two sample plates with 45° ZnSe crystals, one for liquids and one for solids. Sample plates with Si and Ge crystal materials are also available. A Gripper pressure device (included) delivers calibrated pressure for good sample-to-crystal contact during ATR measurements. The specular reflectance attachment enables external reflectance at a fixed angle of 45° to ensure repeatability. The accessory includes 7 mm and 13 mm maskes for specular measurements.
