Thermo Scientific's Model FX-CO2 single gas detector/transmitter uses an NDIR (non-dispersive infrared) sensor to detect carbon dioxide (CO2) in the workplace.  The sensor and electronics are mounted in a NEMA 4X fiberglass surface mounting enclosure.
