The Thermo Scientific CataLyst-T Track Robot System features a linear track that significantly extends the work envelope of the Thermo Scientific CataLyst-5Robot System, with standard track lengths from one to five meters.
A linear track provides an additional degree of freedom for the CataLyst-5 Robot System. The Thermo Scientific C500C controller automatically incorporates motion along the linear track into its trajectory planning, making it easy to add track motion to an application. The linear tracks offer programmable speeds from 0.01 m/s to 1 m/s (CataLyst-T), with repeatability better than ±0.08 mm.
Our Track Robot Systems are suitable for any applications requiring an extended work space. For example, they can be used to load/unload multiple CNC machines, to dispense compounds over a very large surface area, or to serve multiple assembly lines.
Track Robot Systems are ideal for laboratory automation applications that feature high density instrument placement. We offer optional Lab Tables designed specifically for easy mounting of our Robot Systems in laboratory environments.
We also offer an optional inverted mounting configuration for the CataLyst-T.
Programming our Track Robot Systems is easy, using either the powerful Thermo Scientific RAPL-3 robot application development language supplied standard with the our C500C controller, or Thermo Scientific ActiveRobotTM, the optional ActiveX® robot programming component for Microsoft® Windows®.
