The F3T Track Robot System enables you to extend
the advanced container handling capabilities of the Thermo Scientific F3
articulated robot to a row of instruments up to 5 metres apart. Automating
container handling boosts walkaway time for lab personnel, reduces human error,
increases lab throughput, and improves sample processing
uniformity.

The Thermo Scientific F3T Track Robot System features a linear track that
significantly extends the work envelope of our F3 robot
systems. Thermo Scientific Laboratory Automation and Integration offers standard
track lengths from one to five meters.
A linear track provides an additional degree of freedom
for the F3 robot system. The Thermo Scientific
C500C controller automatically incorporates motion along the linear track into
its trajectory planning, making it easy to add track motion to an application.
The linear track offers programmable speeds from 0.01 m/s to 0.8 m/s, with
repeatability better than ±0.08 mm.
Thermo Scientific F3T Track Robot Systems are suitable
for any applications requiring an extended work space. For example, they can be
used to load/unload multiple CNC machines, to dispense compounds over a very
large surface area, or to serve multiple assembly lines. Our F3T Track
Robot Systems are ideal for laboratory automation applications that feature high
density instrument placement. Thermo Scientific Laboratory Automation and
Integration offers optional Thermo Scientific Lab Tables designed specifically
for easy mounting of our Track Robot Systems in laboratory environments.Thermo

Programming the Thermo Scientific F3T Track
Robot Systems is easy, using either the powerful Thermo Scientific RAPL-3 robot
application development language supplied standard with the Thermo Scientific
C500C controller, or Thermo Scientific ActiveRobotTM, the optional
ActiveX® robot programming component for Microsoft® Windows®.
