The Thermo Scientific DNA Amplification System automates all steps involved in the amplification of DNA samples. The system performs a complete amplification protocol including plate identification through barcode reading, pipetting of primer and PCR reagent mix, plate sealing, and thermocycling. Automating DNA amplification boosts walkaway time for lab personnel, reduces human error, increases throughput, and improves sample processing uniformity.
Product Detail
Additional thermocycler units can be added to the base system to increase throughput. After the process, the plates are kept refrigerated to avoid sample degradation. Using POLARA™ Open Architecture Laboratory Software, the DNA Amplification System manages plate movement in real-time and optimizes scheduling to consistently deliver high throughput.
