In stand-alone operation, the FHT 6020 can be used for the local display of measurements with intelligent probes and with FH 40 G range probes. Both intelligent probes and FH 40 G probes may be used simultaneously. Built-in solid state relays allow control of local alarm devices or locks. Digital inputs are provided to monitor conditions like on/off, open/closed, free/occupied etc..
The FHT 6020 can alternatively be ingrated into RS-485 networks, allowing cable lengths up to 1000 m.
Firmware is stored on the FHT 6020's flash EPROM, so updates of basic software, or customer-specific programs can be easily loaded on site when required. The simplest update method is via a PC's serial interface, using Thermo's configuration program, running under WindowsTM.
A 40 character dot matrix printer option is available, order code DPN-233.
