This hands-on training addresses radiation physics, biological effects of radiation exposure, radiation detection and protection, dosimetry, licensing and regulatory compliance requirements. Students also learn proper gauge installation, relocation, surveying and leak testing. After successful completion, the student will be listed as a Radiation Safety Officer on their company's radioactive material license. This course is applicable to all types of nuclear gauging devices, regardless of the manufacturer.

Cancellation Policy:
Thermo Fisher Scientific reserves the right to cancel any course approximately one month prior to its scheduled date due to insufficient enrollment. Thermo Fisher Scientific is not responsible for expenses incurred if a course is cancelled.
Participants who cancel 10 calendar days in advance of a scheduled course date will not be charged. Students who cancel less than 10 calendar days in advance of the class will be charged as if they attended.
