Comprehensive Testing
The Calibration Validation Carousel (CVC) is an easy to use, accurate and reliable way to validate your spectrophotometer's performance in accordance with the USP and GMP procedures. The CVC fully automates testing for:

- Wavelength Accuracy (UV and Visible)
- Wavelength Repeatability
- Stray Light (UV and Visible)
- Baseline Flatness
- Photometric Noise

Save Time
No longer is testing the performance of your UV-Visible spectrophotometer a complicated task. To perform tests, the user must simply select the desired tests, press the test button, and return to collect the results when the tests are finished. Upon completion, test results are clearly presented in a report suitable for printing or archival purposes.
Reduce Errors
Individual standards require you to keep track of certificates of calibration for each standard. In contrast, each CVC is supplied with its own unique serial number which is matched automatically to a data file containing the calibrated values of the standards and the instrument specifications. This reduces the potential for error by:

All standards contained in the CVC are certified in Thermo Fisher Scientific's ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory traceable to the NIST in the United States or the NPL in the United Kingdom.
Calibration Validation Carousels can be used with VISIONpro™, VISIONsecurity™ or applicable Local Control software. CVC is available for the AquaMate Plus, BioMate 6, UV-10, Helios Zeta, Helios Omega, and Evolution 160, 300, and 600 UV-Visible spectrophotometers.
The CVC is shipped in a plastic case for optimal protection during storage.
