Thermo Scientific Verso 1-Step QRT-PCR Kits have been specially developed to quantify RNA in a one step assay. Special enhancers in the reaction mixture allow both the RT and QPCR steps to work optimally. The result is a rapid, yet highly sensitive and reproducible analysis of RNA templates.
Verso 1-Step QRT-PCR Kits combine the high performance of the Verso RT enzyme and the unique advantages of ABsolute™ Blue QPCR Master Mixes, for a highly sensitive analysis of RNA templates. The RT and QPCR reaction components are together in a single tube, reducing protocol times and minimizing the number of pipetting steps required to obtain results.
The buffer system of the Verso 1-Step QRT-PCR Kits has been specifically optimized to work across a wide range of RNA templates for both transcription and amplification. Special enhancers and additives have been used to generate a reaction mixture which allows both reverse transcriptase and DNA polymerase to work optimally. The Verso 1-Step QRT-PCR Kit can detect 10pg-1μg of total RNA or 1pg-10ng of mRNA. This allows for accurate detection and quantification of target RNA over a broad template range, ensuring that increases in target RNA concentration give rise to corresponding increases in QPCR signal.
Verso QRT-PCR Kits also contain an inert blue dye to significantly enhance the contrast between reagent and plastic. The blue color does not effect the QRT-PCR reaction, and offers an immediate check that a well has not been skipped or miss-aliquoted. These blue mixes are ideal for use with white reaction plates and tubes. An increase in detection efficiency is seen when using ABgene white PCR plastics for QPCR. While white plastics give superior QPCR results, they can make traditional colorless reagents difficult to see. With Verso, a simple glance ensures that the correct amount of master mix has been added.
Features
Easy-to-see mix. The Verso QRT-PCR Kit contains an inert blue dye for easy sample visualization during reaction set-up.
Optimized buffer. Verso QRT-PCR Kits are based on a balanced buffer to maximize performance of both the reverse transcriptase and DNA polymerase enzymes.
Maximum specificity. The chemically modified Thermo-Start Taq DNA Polymerase remains completely inactive during the reverse transcription stage. The enzyme is then fully activated at the start of the QPCR reaction by a 95°C heating step.
Unique RT Enhancer. Verso QRT-PCR Kits contain RT Enhancer, a unique enzyme that degrades any contaminating genomic DNA during the RT step. It eliminates the need for a DNase I treatment of the extracted RNA, saving time and effort.
Instrument specific. Individually optimized QPCR mixes designed for all major QPCR instruments. Mixes are also available for use with probes or SYBR Green chemistry.
Reproducible results. All mixes undergo extensive quality control testing to ensure batch-to-batch consistency.
Easily adapted for automation. The simple 1-step protocol use with robotic systems and reduces hands-on time.
