Adhesive Seals

Description

Adhesive Seals are more convenient and cost effective than other sealing methods, and are available in a range of styles to suit any application. The range includes both peelable and piercable options. Thermo Scientific adhesive seals do not leave behind a sticky residue when the seal is removed, allowing the plate to be sealed multiple times. Foil versions are easily pierced and leave no adhesive buildup on pipette tips.

Adhesive PCR Film (AB-0558)

• Applications: Thermal cycling with a screw-down or clip-down lid; sample storage.
• Characteristics: Strong adhesive; peelable.
• Temperature range: -20ºC to +120ºC

Adhesive PCR Foil (AB-0626)

• Applications: Thermal cycling with a screw-down or clip-down lid; sample storage.
• Characteristics: Strong adhesive; pierceable with a pipette tip; peelable.
• Temperature range: -70ºC to +150ºC
  

Gas Permeable Adhesive Seal (AB-0718)

• Applications: Ventilating & storing bacterial/cell cultures.
• Characteristics: Ideal for ventilating cultures while providing a barrier against contamination. Can apply other adhesive seals/lids over the seal.
• Temperature range: -30ºC to +120ºC 
  

ABsolute QPCR Seal (AB-1170)

• Applications: Ideal for QPCR and other fluorescence applications.
• Characteristics: Optically clear; peelable.
• Temperature range: -40ºC to +120ºC

Adhesive Plate Seal (AB-0580)

• Applications: Long or short term sample storage; can apply over pierced foil seals for storage.
• Characteristics: Peelable.
• Temperature range: -40ºC to +80ºC

Adhesive Crystallography Seal (AB-1450)

• Applications: Ideal for crystallography and genotyping.
• Characteristics: Optically clear with a pressure-sensitive adhesive; peelable.
• Temperature range: -70ºC to +110ºC
