QPCR
For QPCR, EasyStrip Snap Tubes feature Ultra Clear Caps tethered to either white or natural tubes. White wells have been proven to increase assay sensitivity and reproducibility. The attached Ultra Clear Cap is an optically clear window into the reaction effectively allowing fluorescent signal to pass through unaffected, facilitating the benefits of white plastic.
PCR
In standard PCR, we have used domed caps to allow for the best seal when using thermal cyclers with a screw down lid. The domed capped tubes are available in natural. With attached caps, pre- and post- aliquoting steps are much easier to perform. They allow individual access to each tube without compromising any steps in your workflow.
