Simple Red DNA Polymerase is an extremely pure isolate from Thermus aquaticus. It contains an inert red dye that turns the reaction mix light red to indicate that the Taq DNA polymerase has been added, thus reducing pipetting errors. The red dye does not affect the PCR reaction in any way. It is a very active form that works well for conventional PCR applications, reverse transcription PCR or generation of products for TA cloning.

Isolated from Thermus aquaticus. Eliminate the possibility of amplifying contaminating E.coli DNA which may cause misleading results in some amplification experiments.
High performance enzyme. Brighter bands on an agarose gel can be seen leading to higher yield. There is an increase in sensitivity due to the reduction in non-specific amplification.
