Higher intensity dyed particles provide superior test sensitivity in qualitative and quantitative lateral flow tests.

These colored and fluorescent microspheres are loaded with up to 25% dye by weight - much more than comparable products. The microspheres are designed for researchers who are developing lateral flow diagnostic tests, and for other investigations in diagnostics and biotechnology, where labeling and detection of very low concentrations is required.

A variety of surface functionalities are available and the 0.4 µm nominal diameter is the optimal size for most latex-based lateral flow tests. The coefficient of variation (CV) of the diameter is less than 5% ensuring uniform migration through membranes.
