The Thermo Scientific Cellomics Brightfield module for the ArrayScan VTI allows researchers to perform label-free HCS through the use of transmitted light. These images can be used to quantitate morphological features of cells, or as a way to gain an extra channel for fluorescence; increasing assay flexibility and significantly expanding assay capabilities.

Use this label-free method of detection to confirm cell density or fluorescence probe localization, as well as to quantitate morphological features on images with or without fluorescent markers. The flexible transmitted light module permits imaging on multiple plate types, cell lines and magnifications. Color composites can be used to verify location of fluorescent targets within a cell or organism.
The Brightfield module is fully integrated with the ArrayScan VTI software enabling the capture, analysis, and visualization of transmitted light images interleaved with fluorescence images at single or multiple time points. Use the Thermo Scientific Cellomics V3 BioApplications to quantitate highly contrasted images for non-labeled morphological measurements and simultaneously combine with fluorescently labeled intensity measurements.
