Convenient Horizontal Sample Mounting
Each of the Thermo Scientific Fixed Angle Specular Reflectance accessories features convenient horizontal sample mounting, allowing you to easily position samples for measurement.

• The Near Normal accessory features sample mounting on three small ball-bearings for minimum surface contact to limit potential damage to the surface.  Supplied masks in two sizes allow you to limit the area of the sample studied or to mount very small samples down to 5mm diameter.

• The Grazing Angle accessory has a mask with a 3mm wide, 35mm long aperture slot, allowing you to measure both large and small areas of your sample.

Simple, Reproducible installation in the Kinematic Mount
Both accessories are pre-aligned at the factory but include alignment screws for fine tuning if necessary on initial installation.  With each subsequent installation, all you need to do is snap the accessory in and the positive pressure of the three point kinematic mount ensures precise positioning that repeats your alignment perfectly.

Software for QA/QC Testing
Designed for applications where testing at specific angles is required, these accessories allow you to meet testing requirements.

Unique 85° Grazing Angle Capability for Your Research Needs
Only Thermo Scientific offers specular reflectance capability beyond 80° in a standard UV-visible accessory. Centered on 85°, the cone angle of the sample beam places most of the energy between 83° and 87° angle of incidence.
