The Plate Thickness Gauge is a cost effective solution to measure the steel plate thickness length profile for fast AGC purposes. Additionally thickness cross profiles can be taken due to C-frame movement cross machine direction.
For steel plate and hot plate applications we also offer a Plate Thickness Profile Gauge with three measuring heads for length and cross profile measurement without C-frame movement.
Measurements:
Thickness length profile measurement at centreline with fast AGC output.
Temperature measurement with pyrometer. Compensation for steel temperature to give 'cold' thickness at 20C.
Thickness cross profile measurement by movement of the C-frame cross machine direction.
Width measurement of the plate (option for plate shearing lines).
