The ‘Cold’ Position Coating Weight Gauge (installed at the exit of the galvanizing line) provide a precise, fast and non-contact coating weight cross profile measurement of metal coatings (zinc, zinc/nickel, zinc/aluminum, aluminum, tin, terne) applied to steel strips. The gauges can be paired with the Coating Weight Gauge 'Hot' Position and with the Coating Weight Autocontrol System to build one comprehensive system.
Product Detail
For installation in:
Hot Dip Galvanizing Lines
The 'Cold' Position Coating Weight Gauge (installed at the exit of the galvanizing line) provides a precise, fast and non-contact coating weight cross profile measurement of metal coatings (zinc, zinc-/aluminium alloys, aluminium, tin, terne, ...) applied to steel strips. The gauge is installed either at the 'cold' position (exit) or 'warm' position (after cooling section) of the hot dip galvanizing line.
Measurements:
Coating weight cross profile measurement (top & bottom side) at the exit of the coating line or after the cooling section.
Features:
Extendable, Ethernet-based system architecture, powerful electronics.
Central control of the gauges via one operator station. System operation via touch control screen or keyboard.
Two measuring channels for top and bottom side coating weight of the strip.
O-frame scanners or single beam scanners (for installation at bridle rolls) can be supplied.
X-ray fluorescence measuring heads in compact design. Gamma- or X-ray sources available.
The gauge can be coupled with the Coating Weight Gauge 'Hot' Position and with the Neuro-Fuzzy Autocontrol to build one comprehensive system.
Ethernet based or serial interface based communication protocols with customized data content.
