A new and innovative WDXRF system for optimum analytical performance in specific applications
This unique and compact instrument can be configured with a series of MultichromatorsTM for simultaneous analysis and/or with a SmartGonioTM for sequential analysis and flexibility.
To ensure a larger degree of flexibility in sequential analysis, the instrument’s innovative goniometer – the SmartGonio™ with 3 crystals - can now be configured to cover all elements from fluorine (F) to uranium (U) in sequential mode. Two fixed monochromator channels for specific elements can be fitted alongside the SmartGonio™ to reduce analysis time. When speed of analysis is critical, a series of up to eight fixed channels can be selected in a simultaneous configuration.
Typical applications include the analysis of S, Pb and other elements in petrochemical refineries (according to ASTM and ISO norms), analysis of major and minor oxides in raw materials such as limestone, sand, bauxite, ceramics, refractories, slags and sinters, and major and minor elements in food and chemical products.
| NEW! The ARL OPTIM'X can now be calibrated for petrochemical/petroleum applications by the new Petroil QuantTM Pre-Calibration Program. Petroil Quant is designed to help analysts in the petrochemical and petroleum industries meet various analytical requirements. It is capable of quantifying up to 24 elements in a variety of automotive fuels, lubricants and heavy residual oils both quickly and cost-effectively. The ARL OPTIM'X offers excellent value for money, and significantly reduced cost per analysis. This instrument is designed for better resolution, precision, reliability and accuracy, bringing substantial performance benefits for quantitative analysis. Solids, liquids and loose powders in either inorganic or organic matrices can be analyzed, showing that flexibility in sample handling can be available alongside the flexible configuration options. Built for autonomous and easy operation, the ARL OPTIM'X does not require internal or external water-cooling. In addition, it can be configured to work without external detector gas, reducing the peripheral dependence to a strict minimum.
To provide general elemental analysis capabilities, or to offer complimentary information when X-ray diffraction, FT-IR and other structural analysis methods are employed, the ARL OPTIM'X is the ideal tool to provide cost effective, simple and rapid chemical analysis.
