The FX-IR dual infrared design provides excellent long-term stability, eliminating the need for frequent calibration and providing additional sensitivity for the harshest environment.
Product Detail
The FX-IR Single Gas Transmitter uses dual infrared technology to detect combustible gases. This unique transmitter is available for the detection of hexane, methane or propane gases in lower explosive limits (LEL) or parts per million (ppm) ranges. This dual infrared design provides excellent long-term stability, eliminating the need for frequent calibration and providing additional sensitivity for the harshest environment.
Features:
Dual detector infrared technology to monitor combustible gases in virtually any environment
Immune a catalyst poisons such as silcone & chlorinated combustibles
Can operate in oxygen deficient or inert atmospheres
Excellent long term stability
Non-intrusive calibration via a magnetic wand eliminates the need to declassify hazardous areas
Housed in rugged copper-free aluminum enclosure (weather & explosion proof)
Housing suitable for indoor and outdoor installation in hazardous environment
Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) with backlight
Minimum 5-year expected sensor life
Connect to Thermo Scientific (formerly Thermo GasTech) controllers, PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) or DCS (Distributive Control System)
Industry standard 4 to 20mA ouput
User friendly - simple to operate
Explosion proof design
