The Shandon Coverplate is a plastic device that fits over a standard microscope slide allowing specimens to be immunostained with a minimum amount of reagent.
Product Detail
This system allows liquids to fill the gap between the coverplate and slide. The liquid stays in the gap until the next reagent is dispensed into the well. Its pressure then causes the previous reagent to be displaced by gravity flow. This process frees considerable technician time. Shandon Coverplates are used on the Shandon Sequenza®.
