Data Cal™ Calibrator Serum is intended for use as a secondary calibrator in the quantitative calibration of commonly used analytes on clinical chemistry analyzers. It is for in vitro diagnostic use only. The product consists of a lyophilized serum and a reconstituting diluent in a 5 x 5ml format. The calibrator serum offers up to five days stability at 2 – 8°C once reconstituted.
The chemical and biological components included in this product are chosen to act in the serum matrix in a similar manner to the corresponding components found in human sera.
The calibrator is to be used in accordance with the directions accompanying the assay procedure being used. While following these directions, the calibrator is to be treated in the same manner as a patient’s specimen would be treated.
