Data Trol™ Normal Control Serum is intended for monitoring the accuracy and precision of commonly used clinical chemistry assays. It is for in vitro diagnostic use only. Provided in a 10 x 5ml lyophilized format, the control offers up to ten days stability at 2 – 8°C once reconstituted. The control is to be used in accordance with the directions accompanying the assay procedure being used. While following these directions, the control serum is to be treated in the same manner a patient specimen would be treated. The results obtained for the control are to be compared with the assigned values given in the “Assay Data” section of the insert. An Evaluation made by the standard statistical technique determines if the procedure is within control limits.
