Perform microliter and submicroliter solution measurements with the Thermo Scientific nanoCell. Use the spectrophotometer accessory for the ultimate sampling flexibility. No alignment required; just insert the nanoCell, load your sample and get accurate results. The removable accessory makes the switch between large and small volume measurements fast and easy. Use between 0.7 and 5.0 μL of sample – the nanoCell can measure DNA concentration measurements from 4.0 to 4500 ug/mL. Quick cleaning with a laboratory tissue allows high sample throughput and excellent sample carry-over performance.
Product Detail
Fast, Convenient and Easy to Use
Simply insert the nanoCell into a single cell holder and start measuring samples – no special software required. Load samples into the quartz sample loading area on the top of the accessory using a pipette. To clean the accessory, simply wipe off the sample loading area and the mirrored lid. For results from laboratory sample carry-over experiments, see the nanoCell application notes in the UV-Vis Reference Library.
Stop Diluting — Measure Accurately
The nanoCell accessory features interchangeable 0.2 and 1.0 mm pathlengths. This is the same as preparing either a 10- or 50-fold dilution. With a DNA measurement range from 4.0 to 4,500 ng/μL and a minimum error specification of 0.3 ng/μL, the nanoCell provides accurate and sensitive life science measurements. For more information on the performance of the nanoCell, including linearity, reproducibility, and 260/280 ratios, see the nanoCell application notes in the UV-Vis Reference Library.
Ultimate Sampling Flexibility
The nanoCell accessory allows you to measure sample volumes from less than a microliter to milliliters using the same spectrometer. Use large volume or disposable cuvettes for some assays and the nanoCell for microliter samples. With the nanoCell accessory, you have all of the features of a quality, Thermo Scientific spectrometer plus the benefit of small volume measurements. Our life science analyzers (BioMate 3, GENESYS 10 Bio, and BioMate 5) feature over 25 built-in methods for analyzing DNA, RNA, proteins, and more.
