This suite of accessories is useful for measuring film thickness and reflectance properties from coatings on metallic, glass, and silicon substrates. The accessory includes an alignment mirror that can also be used for baseline measurements.

Convenient Horizontal Sample Mounting
Each of the Fixed Angle Specular Reflectance accessories features convenient horizontal sample mounting, allowing you to easily position samples for measurement. A selection of apertures is provided to limit the size of the light patch striking the sample surface, facilitating reproducible sampling. No complicated alignment is necessary, simply insert the accessory in the Sample Slide of the Solid Sample Holder for the Evolution 300/600 or for the Evolution 160/Helios/UV10and begin your measurements.
Versatility with polarizers in SSH
Fixed Angle Specular Reflectance accessories can be used in conjunction with a variety of polarizers, depolarizers, and filter holders. The Evolution 300/600 Solid Sample Holder can accommodate multiple slide holders allowing optical elements to be inserted either before or after the Fixed Angle Specular Reflectance accessory.

Use MaterialsCalc software to simplify QA/QC testing by allowing you to create custom limits to test samples against. Specify a table of values or minimum and/or maximum boundaries across an entire spectrum. Simply provide the tolerances and VISIONlite MaterialsCalc does the rest. The test results will display the high and low boundaries of the test and a text based confirmation that the material either fails or exceeds the specified limits.
