The MaxQ 2000 and 3000 are versatile, benchtop orbital shakers with the ability to increase sample capacity, simply by changing the platform.Choose from the MaxQ 2000 for smaller loads, and the 3000 for larger ones.
The triple-eccentric drive handles heavy loads, provides uniform agitation and continuous 24/7 operation, even at high speeds.
The new CO2 resistant digital unit can be used continuously in a CO2 incubator without malfunction or the formation of carbolic acid on electrical components.
For added peace of mind, the MaxQ 2000 and MaxQ 3000 come with a five year warranty on parts, one year labor and lifetime on drive mechanism.
Product Detail
The MaxQ 2000 and 3000 open-air platform shakers are durable and
easy-to-use. Pair with a variety of platform sizes for increased sample
capacity.
They are ideally suited for multiple
applications, such as general mixing, cell cultures, solubility studies, extraction procedures, diagnostic testing, and many other applications that require shaking.
Versatility, quality and increased capacity rule
Choose from a variety of platform sizes accepting loads up to 35 lbs. on the 2000 and 50 lbs. on the 3000.
Standard shaker units operate in temperature ranges of 0°C to 40°C and humidity conditions from 20-80% non-condensing enabling them to be used in a variety of incubators, warm rooms, environmental chambers and refrigerators.
Solid state DC brushless motor is maintenance free.
Dial it in using the analog operating system
Variable speed from 40 to 400 rpm, controlled by a rotary dial monitored accurately by a traditional tachometer.
Perform timed studies with timed operation from 1 to 60 minutes or operate shaker in continuous mode.
Easy-to-use controls with the digital operating system
Variable speed control from 15 to 500 rpm.
Continuous and timed operation from 0.1 hour up to 999 hours or 0.1 minute to 999 minutes.
Minimize errors by viewing speed and operating time simultaneously on two individual LED displays.
Shaker shutdown and audible/visual alarms signal if unit operates ±10% of set speed, preventing shaker from walking.
User-adjustable speed calibration can be performed using a digital handheld tachometer, where verification is required and protocols can be standardized.
Unbalanced load sensor stops platform motion when excess vibration is detected and visual/audible alarms signal until condition is corrected.
NEW CO2 Resistant Digital Operating System
Contains all of the features and benefits of the digital operating system, plus:
Electrical and mechanical components have been treated to protect them from up to 10% CO2 and 90% humidity conditions non-condensing.
This treatment prevents humidity and CO2 from reacting with electrical components and forming carbolic acid.
