Description
The Thermo Scientific ABgene RNase Inhibitor is isolated by affinity chromatography from porcine livers. This enzyme acts on type A RNases (RNase A, B and C) and functions in any enzymatic reaction buffer with pH 5-8 (optimal activity is observed at pH 7-8). Porcine RNase Inhibitor does NOT inhibit RNase T1, RNase H, RNase V1, RNase Phy M or RNase U2.
Specifications
One unit of RNase Inhibitor is the amount of protein required to inhibit 5ng of RNase A by 50%.
