The mBox slide storage and archiving box was designed to protect microarray substrates from scratches, from dust and other particles. The rack prevents slide-to-slide contact and the box allows for maximal efficiency in processing and storage.
Two different box designs allow for flexibility in application needs:
Rigid, proprietary design provides protection of slides from contact and has low out-gassing properties (BX-IM-20TS)
Flexible polypropylene provides protection of slides from contact, yet is resistant to high temperature. This has been shown to be useful for applications that require processing at high heat (BX-IM-20GEN).
