Housed in a stainless steel enclosure and equipped with a four-line, beveled display that can be read in direct sunlight from as far away as three meters, the 1400S Transmitter is well suited for industrial environments. It acts as a signal processor for several Thermo Scientific gauges and provides an isolated 4-20 mA output that indicates the process conditions within the pipe or vessel. The high accuracy of this field-proven device enables operators to respond quickly to variations in the process material, minimizing upset conditions and eliminating potential shutdowns.
The internationally certified 1400S is also compatible with Thermo Scientific ‘M’ or ‘D’ Transmitter models and can easily be retrofitted to replace these models where operating conditions require a more rugged transmitter. It is also expandable with users having the option of adding up to three more 4-20 mA outputs. An external keypad and the self-contained help menu facilitate setup and ongoing operation.
