The Thermo Scientific Locator Plus Rack and Box Systems allows quick, efficient sample retrieval for up to 6,000 samples with minimum liquid nitrogen consumption. The are available with or without ultrasonic level monitor.

The compact design of the Locator® Plus Rack and Box Systems minimizes space requirements while maximizing storage capacity, and are suited for both manual and computerized inventory record-keeping methods.

  • Outstanding temperature uniformity: samples are stored below -180°C, even when less than 2 inches (5cm) of liquid nitrogen remains in the vessel
  • Ultrasonic Level Monitor safeguards irreplaceable samples with minimal liquid nitrogen evaporation and conduction
  • Monitor provides continuous LED readout of liquid nitrogen level in 1/8 increments
  • Remotable alarm sounds when nitrogen levels falls below safe range
  • Advanced vacuum insulation minimizes liquid nitrogen evaporation and reduces operating costs
  • Secure locking hasp prevents unauthorized entry
