Your Spectrophotometer Primary Standards (NTRM 930 & NTRM 1930 from Thermo Fisher Scientific or SRM 930 and SRM 1930 from NIST) should be recertified every two years. Recertification of these standards by Thermo Fisher Scientific's NVLAP-accredited laboratory offers you the following advantages:
• NVLAP accreditation ensures that your spectrophotometric filter reference materials from Thermo Fisher Scientific meet the technical specifications and requirements*** as determined by the NIST Analytical Chemistry Division.
• 4-week typical turnaround time (from time of receipt at our laboratory)
• Lower recertification cost ($750 per filter at Thermo Fisher Scientific vs $1000 if recertified by NIST)
Please note that our laboratory is certified only for the production and recertification of the 930 and 1930 Primary Standards. If you wish to purchase or recertify other NIST-Traceable primary standards, please contact NIST.
