Course designed to familiarize users of the ARL ADVANT'X XRF with the structure of the instrument. Students will learn maintenance and diagnostic techniques and how to establish and follow a maintenance schedule.
Topics include a general overview of the ARL ADVANT'X XRF spectrometers, electronics, vacuum system, gas and thermal control, sample changers mechanism, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and WinXRF basic functions.
Pre-Requisites: Practical experience of at least 3 months following the installation of the instrument and general knowledge of Windows® Operating systems and WinXRF software.
