UHV PREPLOC Chamber for the ESCALAB 250

This ESCALAB 250 is fitted with both a PREPLOC and a UHV preparation chamber. The following preparation facilities are available:

• Heating/cooling stage
• Parking stage

Carousel Preparation Chamber for the ESCALAB 250

The Carousel Preparation Chamber provides the ultimate in flexibility.                                                                                       The chamber has a number of radial ports to which UHV chambers may be attached. Samples may be placed in any of these chambers where preparation or analysis techniques may be applied. The sample may then be taken to the ESCALAB 250 analysis chamber under true UHV conditions.

UHV PREPLOC for the MICROLAB 350

The MICROLAB 350 may be fitted with a PREPLOC or a UHV PREPLOC similar to those on the ESCALAB 250. A fracture stage can be fitted which allows both surfaces of a fractured specimen to be analysed.
