Excellent performance guaranteed
The Wellwash AC is the easiest to program twin-strip microplate washer available, and is provided with liquid level sensors for wash, waste and rinse bottles. The integrated orbital shaker and automatic rinsing and priming functions guarantee excellent washing performance. Wellwash AC includes all bottles and accessories needed for EIA washing of a microplate.The customer can select Wellwash AC with two 2 liter primary wash bottles, a 4 liter waste bottle and a 1 liter rinse bottle. For robotic operation, Wellwash AC Big Bottles with a larger liquid management module can be selected. This includes two 4 liter primary wash bottles, a one 2 liter rinse bottle and a 10 liter waste bottle.
Robotic compatibility for additional capacity
Wellwash AC offers laboratories additional capacity through its easy robot compatibility. Wellwash AC has a RS-232 serial port allowing computer control and printing of the Wellwash AC programs.
Superb washing performance and very low residual volumes for reliable results
Washing performance is excellent. Residual aspiration volumes after the washing cycle are less than 1μl per well when the advanced sweep aspiration is used. During the advanced sweep aspiration is function, the wash head moves in quick steps instead of scraping the bottom of the well. The aspiration is performed in 3 positions: in the middle and in both corners of a microplate well. This avoids possible damage to the bound antibody or antigen layer.The residual aspiration volumes are less than 3 μl per well when normal aspiration is used.The ability to adjust the dispense and aspirate heights ensures precisely controlled washing of more fragile coatings.
Unique multibuffer module with fully automatic switching and purging of washing liquid
Wellwash AC is a multibuffer microplate washer with its own separate liquid management module. Switching with liquid purging is fully automated, ensuring secure wash buffer changes. Unique quick release bottle caps house the liquid-level sensing system, which provides audiovisual warnings.
Autorinse and stand-by function for high reliability
Wellwash AC has automatic rinsing and priming modes that can also be activated on demand. The useful stand-by function of Wellwash AC partially flushes the wash heads with rinsing solution and parks the wash head in the priming vessel that contains rinsing solution. In this way, Wellwash AC is ready for use whenever needed, with minimal setup time.
Easy-to-use and flexible programming
Wellwash AC provides the easiest and most flexible programming. The easy programming is based on a question and answer format, allowing control over all wash parameters. A special feature is the ability to include additional dispensing of a second buffer anter the complete washing protocol, within the same program. A total of 99 wash assay programs, each with up to 4 linked protocols can be stored.
Fast and reliable twin-strip wash head system
The highly effective twin-strip wash head of Wellwash AC rapidly traverses the stationary plate during washing. The design also provides the quickest and safest way to change the wash heads, with a choice of double 24- or 16-way and single 12- or 8-way formats.
