The EasiSeal In Situ Slide System is designed specifically to prevent the evaporation of your sample during slide hybridization and in situ PCR. The adhesive backed frames are fastened on to the slide and once you have placed your PCR or hybridization mix on your slide, the flexible plactic "coverslip" is placed over the top making a gas tight seal - preventing sample evaporation.
Evaporation of reagents during slide hybridisation and in situ PCR has always been a problem. To prevent this, EasiSeal
has been developed as a quick and easy means of containing and sealing the reaction mix around the sample on the slide. EasiSeal comes in a choice of four sizes to accommodate different sample volumes. By the use of an advanced adhesive, EasiSeal can be removed effortlessly from the slide at the end of the incubation leaving the sample ready for any post-reaction manipulation.
