The patented Synergy Mass Spectroscopy and FTIR interface delivers a very concentrated sample of the evolved gas from the TG to the FTIR or MS, providing much lower detection limits and better results. The Synergy system incorporates opposing purge gas flows that come together at the sample, forming a stationary zone from which the sniffer tube draws the sample. The result is very little dilution from the purge gas and a far superior MS and FTIR interface.
What's more, Thermo Scientific's new Thermal Analyst software suite, designed for Windows 2000 TM, NT and XP, has the unique capability of inputting live TGA data into the Thermo Scientific Nicolet OmnicTM series FTIR software in real-time! The Thermal Analyst software suite provides the capability of controlling and data collection for TG/FTIR in one integrated software package!
