Shandon AN-96/95 Series Features Ventilation One inch (2.54 cm) high table-length exhaust ducts on each side of the table converge under the unit to quickly pull formaldehyde and other fumes down and away from the operator.
Roller System A body tray roller system allows the user to move the cadaver from a transport cart to the fixed embalming station without lifting the tray.
Table The standard unit is a stationary table without casters. An optional movable table with casters (specify casters when placing order) has the same ventilation and quick-disconnect features for ventilation ducting, electric power, and table rinse.
Tabletop The tabletop is sold separately. It consists of a No. 82619 body tray over the roller system. For applications not requiring a drain, the No. 82618 body tray may be used.
Fluorescent Lighting The unit features one set of 48” (122 cm) double-tube fluorescent lights UL rated for damp locations.
Drawer A locking instrument drawer is provided as a standard feature.
Welding All welds utilize only stainless steel as a filler medium. All visible welds shall be ground smooth and regrained to match the #4 finish.
Plumbing Hot and cold water fixtures with wrist-blade handles are factory installed. All external plumbing parts are brass with a heavy chrome-plating finish.
Sink The sink portion of the unit is similar to the AN-68 series sinks. It provides a sturdy platform to hold the embalming machine. The unit includes specialized accessories required for embalming.
Table Rinse Spray jets are evenly spaced on hinged manifolds along the length of the table for a complete rinse of the work area.
Eyewash An emergency eyewash is provided as a standard feature.
Disposal Heavy-duty 1/2hp commercial disposed is a standard feature.
Hydro-aspirator Deluxe hydro-aspirator with reverse flow feature is supplied complete with control valve, vacuum breaker, and plastic tubing. All visible plumbing fittings shall be brass with a heavy bright chrome-plating.
Hand Spray Assembly comes complete with spray nozzle, on/off control and flexible spray hose. A control valve is located on the backsplash to control water pressure.
Vacuum Breaker Vacuum breakers protect the potable water supply.
Duplex Receptacle A hospital-grade duplex GFCI (ground fault current interrupter) receptacle is provided on 110-120V units. This feature interrupts the electrical supply when a ground fault occurs to protect the user against electrical shock.
A hospital-grade duplex receptacle is provided on 220-240V units. While this receptacle does not protect against shock, it is ready for the customer to connect it to an RCD (residual current device) which does protect against shock.
Factory Tested All plumbing and electrical work is completed at the factory, and is tested prior to shipment. Acoustic Coating Applied to the underside to deaden sound and to prevent condensation, the coating is applied and then sealed with silver enamel paint.
Optional Design Features 1. No. 820 Scale Support Bracket for No. 1320 Post-mortem Scale or No. 1330 Digital Post-mortem Scale. 2. Gas cock (No. 7310). 3. Air cock (No. 7310). 4. Grid plate surface on AN-95 Table which allows the table to be used for dissection. 5. Casters for AN-95 Table.
