Density measurement in wet processes is an essential tool for total process control and optimum productivity in many industries. Robust on-pipe density gauges, or transmitters, are the ideal instruments for this purpose and the Gamma-Metrics High Performance Density Gauge (HPDG) provides for non-intrusive continuous on-line measurement of density (sg) or %solids of material flowing in a pipe. An Immersion Density Gauge is available for use in open vessel or tank applications. Both products use radiation attenuation methods and they are designed for robustness and safe use in any harsh plant environment.
Typical applications include cyclone overflow control and thickener underflow control in alumina plants and refineries.
